10am-12pm   Songwriting with Jane
  • ​This class is highly effective for anyone wanting to write more and better words, regardless of their experience.
  • Using a variety of interactive, simple writing exercises, Jane will introduce you to new ways to add colour, texture and depth to your writing.
  • The two questions Jane is most frequently asked are "how do you come up with ideas for your lyrics?" and "how do you structure a song?". Both these questions will be answered in this class, which will guide you through creating words and crafting them into song structures.

12-4 pm   Free time

4-5.30 pm   Voice Jam with Pam Freeman
  • The inspiring Pam Freeman will take you to places you never knew you wanted to go!
  • A delightful 90 minutes of fun-filled singing and vocal jamming exercises that will help you master rhythm and vocal control, and build your confidence as a performer.

Once during your week in Bali:
8-9 pm   Songwriting circle
  • Road-test your songs from home and get respectful feedback from the best audience in the world - other writers.
  • Here's a chance to listen to each others' work in a relaxed, supportive environment.
  • It's also a fabulous opportunity to pick each others' brains for ideas and to expand your writing tool-set.
